FLIR Certified Developers are specially trained by FLIR on thermal imaging and working with the FLIR ONE developer tools, and they’re eligible for FLIR app collaboration and referral opportunities. To qualify for the FLIR Certified Developer status, just follow these simple steps:

  • STEP ONE

    Join the FLIR One developer community

    Congrats, Step One is already complete! You’re in the FLIR One developer community.

  • STEP TWO

    Attend or watch the entire Introduction to Thermal Imaging presentation

    This introduction class can be taken online in our Training Videos library, at a local FLIR hacker/maker challenge event listed in our Developer Events, or when available at one of FLIR’s certified training centers listed at http://www.infraredtraining.com.

  • STEP THREE

    Attend or watch the entire FLIR ONE Developer Tools presentation or the Hong Kong Hacker/Maker Challenge pre-event webinar recording.

    This material can be viewed online in our Training Videos library, at a local FLIR hacker/maker challenge event listed in our Developer Events, or when available at one of FLIR’s certified training centers listed at http://www.infraredtraining.com

  • STEP FOUR

    Develop and release at least one relevant FLIR Approved Application

    Visit the FLIR Approved App Process page to learn about submitting your application for approval. If you need technical support while developing your application please start by posting your question on the developers’ forum.

  • STEP FIVE

    Review FLIR IP and trademark usage

    Affirm that none of developer’s published apps knowingly violate FLIR IP or trademark usage guidelines.

  • STEP SIX

    Complete the FLIR Certified Developer application form

    Fill out the form to apply for FLIR Certified Developer status, found here.

  • STEP SEVEN

    Receive approval email from FLIR with official “Approved Application” badge

    Once we review your application information, upon approval status we’ll email you the “Approved Application” badge for usage in your apps or marketing material.
