We are developing an Android App on a Cat S60 Device.

We have the issue, that it takes more than 30s in our app after start displaying the frames of the Flir camera, until we measure correct temperature values. This tests are done indoors at room-temperature. The user has to manually tune the device more than once until we get correct values.
This behavior is also seen and discovered within the Flir One Example App.
The wait times occurs every time when we start the device camera, it also takes us 7 secs until a frame will be displayed when starting the frame-stream of the Flir camera. We also do a tune right after flirOneDevice.startFrameStream().
As the user can put the application in background at every point in time, we cannot start the frame-streaming in advance to shorten up the wait time.

On my research through the forums and developer documentation i didn’t found anything mentioned about improvements for this issue.
Has anyone a suggestion how we can speed up the time until we get correct values for the temperature measurements?

    kind regards
    Susanne
